Name/Place ("the app") is a multiplayer word game. This policy explains what information the app handles.
Display name. You choose a display name when you join a game. It is shown to the other players in your room.
Game data. The app stores your game rooms, answers, votes, challenges, and chat messages so the game can work in real time between players.
Anonymous account. The app signs you in anonymously (a random ID, no email or personal details) to keep your game session working.
This information is used only to run the game — creating rooms, syncing answers and scores between players, and showing chat messages. We do not sell your information, show ads, or use analytics.
Game data is stored with Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Authentication). Data is transmitted securely and is only visible to the players in the same game room.
The app is a general word game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here.
